VIP Cleaning Squad is a cleaning company at 116 Eastchester Ave, St. Catharines, Ontario L2P 2Z2. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean VIP Cleaning Squad. What we collect

Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and how you prefer to be contacted.
Service details: the address to be cleaned, postal code, home or business size, rooms, pets, preferred dates and times, notes and your quote.
Business details: for commercial and partnership requests, your company name and website.
Job records: booking history, payments and invoices, cleaner checklists and job photos taken during a clean.
Website use: pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, through cookies (see below).

How we use it

To give you a quote, book and schedule your cleaning, and send confirmations and reminders by text and email.
To carry out the clean, check quality and handle any re-clean under our satisfaction guarantee.
To send invoices and keep financial records.
After a clean, to thank you and ask whether you would like to leave a review.
To understand how people use our website and improve it and our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages and email

When you book or request a quote, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text or email about that request and your cleanings. You can reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or ask us to stop emails at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

Netlify, which hosts our website and stores form submissions and booking records.
Twilio, which sends our text messages.
Google, which provides our business email, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Our cleaners, who see the job address, access notes and job details for the cleans they are assigned.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Some of our service providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and Google Ads to measure advertising. These use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Job photos

Our cleaners may photograph rooms before and after a clean to check quality. We only show photos on our website or social media if they do not identify you, your family or your address. Ask us anytime to remove a photo.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information while we provide services to you and as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal requirements, then delete it.

How we protect it

Booking records are kept in password-protected systems that only our team can access. Keys and alarm codes are shared only with the cleaners assigned to your job.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contract limits. Email info@vipcleaningsquad.ca. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
